Position: Senior Banker - Public Finance Investment Banking

Location: Chicago, California or New York

About the Position:

Seeking experienced Senior Bankers with existing relationships to expand Cabrera Capital Markets’ participation in negotiated municipal new issues in the Midwest, Northeast or West Coast regions.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for maintaining and procuring key relationships for municipal new issue assignments as senior manager or co-manager

• Cultivate client relationships by providing relevant and innovative ideas and recommendations to issuers for capital plans, new issue structures and budget solutions

• Oversee new issue transaction execution including documentation, pricing, presentations to investors and rating agencies, and deal closing

• Work closely with the underwriting, sales and trading team to ensure seamless transaction execution

• Review RFP responses, pitch books and client presentations for accuracy and appropriateness

• Attend various events during non-business hours on behalf of Cabrera to network and cultivate business relationships

• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• Master's degree preferred

• Minimum of 8 years of Public Finance Investment Banking experience

• Series 7 and 63

• Must possess a high level of motivation, initiative, goal-orientation and leadership

• Strong professional communication, inter-personal skills, and the ability to succinctly express complex ideas verbally and in writing

• Proficiency in managing multiple projects effectively in a timely manner with attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
